I miss the times when I played Age of Empires I. I was a small kid at the time and I never got to play it properly so it has always been this unreachable sacred game for me. Shame that this feeling is gone. Uh, Dungeon Master 2 rocked aswell.
I was good at Age of Empires. My favorite civilization was the Egyptians because of thier Chariot and Chariot Archer life bonus.
Roller Coaster Tycoon was so addicting... I actually liked it more than any other game at one time. Why did it have so many Marios, I thought that was a waste of space.
I agree. In AoE1, walls were fairly useless cuz they blocked enemies as well as yourself. Gates in AoE2 was a huge defence bonus, and castles were extremely strong when fully garrisoned. The only thing I didn't like was getting mauled by trebuchets.
That really flooded my mind with the memories and the stuff i did in my past during the time when those games were coming out..........damn? has it been this long already? *sigh*
