If you whatche the second randome starcraft 2 movie at IGN at one point you see a bair vespene geiser and MAN does it look stupid. Its preaty much a bunch of perfectly smooth half domes sticking out of the ground with holes on top. Maybe Blizzard changed that already but if they havent i'd like them to make them look more like geisers and less like the mushroom peoples village.
Re: Vespene geisers I like that they have different geysers for different environments. Like for the space platform, there is just a little bit of raised metal to allow the gas to escape.
Re: Vespene geisers Lol, I never understood how there were vespene geysers and minerals on space platforms in the first game. It never made much sense when you had this solid piece of steel floating around in space and there just happened to be a vespene geyser on it. Unless it was an asteroid that was converted into a space platform.

Re: Vespene geisers Vespene Geyser, in Starcraft 1 are all similar even the place is a dessert a jungle twilight, etch, but i hope blizzard will do something about it, if the place is jungle the vespene Geyser must have its own design, and also in snow, twilght platform so on and so forth, because its really nice to see a different Vespene geyser in different platforms right? well i hope so.
Re: Vespene geisers Well I think thats one reason. Another is they were placed there to supply the platform. But really it's just a game, don't worry about it.
Re: Vespene geisers I think the new ones look kinda like those things that grow on rocks underwater, the one with the weird looking body and tendrils at the top. Anyone know what those are called?
