i was having framerate issues with my 460GTX game was more than playable but i was not happy with the performance considering other games ran well in the nvidia control panel under manage 3d settings, there's an option called ambient occlusion set it to off when i turned this off i basically doubled my fps and can play at 60fps depending on what's going on 40-60fps (i play with v-sync on) anyways i am very pleased with the results now after playing around this one option made the most significant difference (results may vary)
