Suggestion: When msg friends there should be possible to type the begining of the name and then push "tab" to get full name if the begining of the name matches anyone on friend list. This would make it all a lot more easy. But my guess is that this is already implemented.
I'm assuming you mean in the lobby because it wouldn't make sense in-game, but I see no idea why this wouldn't be implemented if it isn't already.
