US and EU multiplayer / ladders

    Hi there,
    So, here in Quebec, Canada. SC2 will be shipping in both french AND english. I'm pretty sure that fr-US dosen't exist and the french version shipped here will be a fr-EU.
    My question is, will french and english versions sold here in canada be able to play together? Or will it be like WoW and US and EU are unable to play together.

    I think they said at launch there will be no cross-server gameplay, however it be included after launch.
