Will the UK version be identical with the US version? If not, will the US version be playable on European servers?

I'm asking because I would like to play the game in English and I would order it from amazon (uk). But I would hope for the American original to be shipped.

Can I just chip in with a question and see if it gets answered with yours? Since Blizzard will create even audio for some of the biggest languages, I get the impression that Blizzard pays close attention to these things. Will there be British spelling then? :3

That's actually one point of my question. The other point being graphics alterations (like in sc1 in the German version there was oil (black) instead of blood when marines died etc; but the American version was perfectly playable).

Unfortunatly, "our" german versions are always cut - missing blood, even swastikas are taken out of the game (which is pretty interesting: Due to our well known history of the middle of the 20th century nowadays displaying swastikas is forbidden in germany. There is one exception made for Art, where it is allowed to show them. So it is allowed to show them in a movie, for example "Indiana Jones", but since Computer Games are not considered as "Art" in germany, it is forbidden to show them in there. It was interesting a few Years ago when a punk-label got sued for printing swastikas mixed with a "forbidden" sign - and lost the case.) . I myself play non-german versions often because of that rude censorship. But as far as i know SC2 will not be cut in any way as it reached a 16-year-old rating. I must admit, though, that i downloaded the UK-Client as the german translation really pissed me off as well as the different Hotkeys were senseless since the gaming comunity (even the german) mostly relates to english-unit-names. And translating Voidrays to german....... i dont know, come on..... necessery???

SO: I think you'd even go well with a german-game-version but due to the name-complications, the bad german hotkeys and the very, very bad translation i'd assume you'd go for something different. Never the less, you surly can buy a german game-version and download a UK-Client. No need to import a game, nowadays. If you play beta you already should have realised that your able to download the UK-Client as well.

Comparison: No cuts in german version, ability to download every EU-Client with an EU-Key (if you'd import the game from the US you'd only be able to play on US-Servers!!!! So you surly will NOT get an US-Version when ordering via Amazon.uk ).
