Should we give the battlecruiser an upgrade called nuclear bombs which costs 1000:1000 and kills everything so you win?
Should we give the Mothership a blackhole which destroy every building but your pylons?
    Should we ruin starcraft?

I agree, you should stay on topic Furrer, direct your sarcasm somewhere else. Exe, i think the Hallucination part is a good suggestion, though the other 2 are quite useless in my opinion.

Though one important upgrade that should be taken into consideration is the speed at which it moves. That would be an asset instead of allowing more 'visual aids'.

    1. If you see a dropship you kill it no matter what it has in it.
    2. carriers are always full. If not then you are probably gunna win in a second.
    3. No. Hallucination is good the way it is. Detectors see invisible stuff. They can't tell the difference between a hallucination and a real thing. I like it that way.

    I agree with Simbob.

    On all 6 points lol.

If hallucinations could be told apart, then they would be useless, and a complete waste of energy. Would be imba.

    Furrer, roe deg selv.

Dropships are fairly easy to kill with just a few units. There is no need to pick and choose, shoot them all down.

When the carriers release their interceptors, you can clearly see how many they have. Again would be imba if you could tell what a carrier was packing before it let loose. SC is a mind game.

Did you read my post at all? Halluc is another mind game tactic.

If you ever fight someone that doesn't know to send Carriers with Interceptors... be ashamed. You should be able to beat someone like that before they can even tech Carriers.

And you don't gain much from knowing that they had 3 Marines in a Dropship.

Just... shoot it down. Don't wait.

If someone is that nub, then it is really easy to tell.

I just play mind games with them then, don't attack much, to make them feel like they are doing what they are s'posed to.

That's all true but hears somehing that I've seen pros do. They bring in their transports in great numbers acting like a drop so all their units are shoved to the back of the base. If you could see if there were units in them you would know it was not a true drop thereful posibly sendin ur units back to the front lines intime to have a decent defence.

But I don't want to stop the preted drops from happening or being totaly ignored because of this. Maybe you could sees whats in the transport if you wait for let's say 10sec with it selected. Thatway you could still know if it was a true drop and could save you if it's a by map.

i Still don't think the carrier suggestion is feasible. If the enemy player would be able to afford 4 Carriers, then building a few interceptors wouldn't be costly.. i don't know it's just logic i guess. Btw, i've never seen players who bring carriers with 0 interceptors built into battle... It's just suicide.

I guess that's true. Mostly because they have way more then enough (usually) by late game and stuff.

I think exe's idea about detecting hallucinations is a good one. maybe an extra ability for the comsat would be to do a super-powered scanner sweep that could detect things like that, but have an incredibly long cooldown time and a large energy cost.
