i thought, lets make a thread for all the new updates, patches and expansions blizzard has released.

the most recent subjects would be Wrath of the Lich King and the 3.0.3 patch



my opinion on wrath of the lich king:

installing now, has a nice cover though


my opininion on the 3.0.3 patch:

thank god they removed the "a mask for all occasion" achievement from the meta-achievements "hallowed be thy name"

 

My dad's going to see if he can't get a copy at lunch.

Cover's very pretty, and I never saw how Blizzard thought A Mask For All Occasions was a good idea.

Would've taken like... 2 or 3 Halloweens to get.

in a halloween there are 360 trick or treats possible, if you dont sleep and plan it on the second
you spent 340 hours averagely to get all the masks

its kinda nice that they included a lore summary on the installation screen, gives all those no-know-no-lore noobs a little idea what they are doing

i just started playing as a death knight, and their starting zone is incredible, it changes when you prpgress through the quests', you get to slaughter entire armies, and the quests have unique mechanics

the area has now changed so taht the the northern part is entirely taken over by the scourge and they launch attacks from all old buildings and all old creatures jhave been turned undead

 

I hear Death Knights get their own Barrens Chat?

 

The people are so ****ing lazy that make Death Knights.

I easily did it all on my awesome Gnome Death Knight.

Took me a little bit to get used to timing fights with the Runes and whatnot, but I've got the hang of it.

Also, good job Blizzard! The world actually changed when we did things!

 

with the addition of Dragonblight and the new frost wyrms, i finally feel like the dragonflights are complete. And i love what happened to them.


The bronze, fighting their future selfs in the caverns of time
the red, doing everything to protect the world from the forces of fel and the rogue dragonflights
the greens, ever sleeping and sfigthing the emerald nightmare,
the blacks, who fel to their madness and are now experimenting to make more powerfull kinds of dragons
the blues, trying to take out all mortal spellcasters


really really awesome
