Im having trouble getting SC2 to play. Once i have installed the game everything is fine until i go to play the game then all i get is black screen stating "unsupported signal. adjust PC output." I am using a Sony Bravia 26" LCD TV model KLV-26S200A. Any help would be fantastic as to fix this issue. Also im not that computer literate so so basic terms would be greatly appreciated as well.
Someone else might know better, but you need to adjust the graphics card driver settings on your computer to do tv-out.
The information I am seeing on this TV is, its basically the 26in version of my buddies TV (he has a 32in), so hopefully I can help you out quiet a bit with this. How are you establishing the connection between your PC and TV? Via VGA, composite, or HDMI? Also, I would like to know a little but more about your system. Click here to read information on finding and posting additional information on your system. Also, is the TV setup as the only monitor on the system, or is there another one attached to the PC? Please let me know.
Okay the input connection is VGA. the system i am running (as best i know) is as follows: Windows Vista processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64x2 dual core processor 4000+ 2.1Ghz 2 GB ram 32 Bit operating system graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS
"NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS" Does the game run on your monitor? Even though the minimum system spec is a GeForce 6600, The GeForce 7300 isn't a faster card, its actually slower. Also, are you using another monitor on the system? If you are cloning the display, try setting the TV is a primary monitor. I wouldn't set the desktop resolution above 720p (1280×720) either (via the TV), as the TV is 1080i, the highest progressive scan supported is probably 720p. Also, make sure your refresh rate on your desktop is set to 60Hz and nothing higher. Game may play, but its going to be on the lowest detail without a graphics upgrade.
