Unique Terran unit

    The terran need their own unique unit. Like the protoss mothership, or the zerg queen. The terran need their own one.

    That's exactly why Terran don't need a special unit, to keep the races asymmetric. Another reason is that Terran probably operate with the principle of divided powers to avoid tyranny, so one central unit wouldn't make sense.

    Now that I think of it. They alrighty have one. The ghost. Its a strong unit with some back-up. It could do some pretty nasty damage.

    Welcome to the forums, Cotcan, but if you do a simple search you'd find that we've discussed this topic 1,000,000,000,000 times already and came to the conclusions that kuvasz briefly stated. We do not want each race to have its own a super/unique/strong unit for the sake of both gameplay and race asymmetry.

    Ya I got that. It just doesn't seem right, with the terran having no unique unit. Must be because of the old Starcraft. Everything was equal. Except very things. So that's the reason, and the other reason is that blizzard said that they would be limiting infestion ability, to not being used on unique units. So all terran units can be infested.

    yea i already think the ghost is the terran special unit. If only it can have the emp ability AND drop pod. i just love the pod

    They toke out the drop pods, and said that the ghost had too many abilities. The zerg queen has tons of abilities. The protoss mothership has 4. Blackhole, Timebomb, Planet Cracker, and is able to call guy to under it. The drop pods made the ghost better.

    Blackhole and Planet Cracker has been removed from the mothership for a while. not sure about the Timebomb, but it still has the ability to warp in units underneath it, and is able to give its energy to another unit.

    and the queen can only Burrow, like all zerg ground units, Deep Tunnel, Heal(not real name, but its what it does), make buildings have an attack for a time, and is able to make morphalisks, which are able to morph into any unit within 10 seconds as long as requirement are meet. thats 5 abilities, but Burrow is obsolete by Deep Tunnel most of the time.

    while the ghost can, call Nukes, EMP, Snipe, Detect units with energy, and can Cloak, 5 abilities.

    imo 5 or 4 abilities should be the max that one unit should have. and while i wont mind if Drop Pods returned or not, but if they do, put them on a different unit rather than the Ghost.

    What, they took out the drop pods! Oh, that sucks...... dam, oh well.
