That artwork is amazing. But it looks more demonic and important than a simple unit if you know what I mean.

 

maybe its an ultralisk hero tarrasque. i think the ultralisk should be that big in real life to match up against the toss and terran giants, the colossus and thor. ^^

 

That Ultralisk looks great, very similar to the recent Ultralisk leak.

He missed the backward spikes on upper claws

The art is awesome, but even that won't justify the horn

 

Thanks for the pic Gassy, I hadn't seen the 4 blades either. They look a little redundant since if you chop something in two right above the ground then chances are there's no need to poke some more at the victim because it's already dead... Also, 4 blades would be harder to control and use accurately than 2, methinks.

The artwork looks very nice, I wasn't aware that the ultra is supposed to be that big. I mean it forms from a larva that a Marine could step on... Personally, I wouldn't have put the Marine with the exclamation mark in it to take away that slight humour from the pic and give it the full-scaled epicness it deserves.

 

I don't that's how big they really are. I imagined them the size of elephants. Some how this reminds me of Diablo.

Yea I doubt they're really meant to be that size. We've all seen the Ghost trailer and its about the size of an Elephant2

no i think the size is just about right. the ultralisk upper part looks large because the ultra raises its two front feet and body.

 

really nice picture except that stupid horn again, just like in the game play picture. I really hope its that big in the game even though it would be stupid to play with, unless it could walk over smaller units like zerglings

 

That would be nice. A player is annoying you by walking his Colossus away from the front line and ripping your units apart so you have an Ultralisk charge at him screaming fuck you to later on own the Colossus.

Wow! That is some really great artwork, and i'm starting to like the concept for the Ultralisk now... It just needs better colors. I'm guessing the team color is the blue and the yellow part is the ultralisk... they should change that to the brown.

 

ya he yellow just doesn't look good,
also if the ultralisk in the actual game it should be able to move over units like the Colossus
