Actually a few reasons I'm posting this. To introduce myself to the community, to ask a question, and to ask for an opinion. First off, hello there. I've been a Starcraft player since I was 5. Considering I've been playing since it came out, that's a long time. Second, do you thing Ulrezaj will be featured in Starcraft 2? I really hope so, I know only what I read from Starcraft Wikia, but he sounds like an awesome opponent. Third, What do you think of this little image animation I made of him? I wanna start making images and perhaps get into graphics design in the later years.
I like the animation. I think you should probably try to make the eyes flash 3 times as often. Otherwise great effect. To the question of him being in SC2 I think he most definitely will! Just not in the first two installations. Seeing as the Third installation will be following the Protoss he will most likely be in there. Currently they are saying the third one will deal with Zeratul using diplomacy to muster the full strength and unite the Remnants of the Khalai Protoss and to convince the Dark Templar scattered throughout the galaxy to together and destroy the Zerg and face the on-coming Xel-Naga, wither they be aggressive or not the Protoss need to be united to seem strong to them. Finally welcome Artanis! Its nice to get new members, look at the rules and obey them like the rest of us. We all get along here (with small joking feuds) and we all LOVE talking about the StarCraft universe so get into conversations and share your opinions with us.
Thanks for the welcome, I was also thinking it should be a little smoother on the animation when I posted it. And I really hope he comes in, Just thinking 7 DT's becoming an archon... pure awesome. If anything, I know I'm all for Artanis and Zeratul, but I really would like him to live through it, perhaps join them. But that has a very low chance of happening.
I hope Ulrezaj's backstory is introduced in Twilight. (All seven pieces of him!) And I'm pretty sure that picture is of Zeratul. See, each cover of the Dark Templar Saga has two characters on it. Zeratul has green eyes, and he's also a Dark Templar (so the nerve endings would also be short). But I could be wrong. So maybe you could make a picture of the other (clearly Ulrezaj dark archon) side instead
I don't think that's Zeratul. This one seems a lot more spikey, and Zeratul wasn't in the book that had Ulrezaj in it (I don't think).
Oh, well I suppose it would make a little more sense, but really, I don't think his head is that spikey.
Well, first off, Ulrezaj is a dark archon, not a regular protoss. You got the completely wrong side of the picture.
But he used to be a regular dark templar, that's probably why some people think both sides of the image are Ulrezaj.
According to Medievaldragon at starcraftwire who got Twilight, Ulrezaj was indeed originally made up of 4 DT then the other 3 came along latter. The seven DT total back history might be explained. Guy, you better want to check out starcraftwire if you want more twilight spoilers. ( Zeratul, Void Seeker, current protoss tribe leaders etc... ) Picture: The Dark Archon side obviously the Dark Archon Ulrezaj and the other side can't be Zeratul at all. Haven't you see him in SC2? He doesn't look that nasty at all.
If you google the 3rd book, it will say that the cover is Ulrezaj and Zeratul. Ima go check the spoiler stuff now. Welcome to the forums Artanis :yes: Enjoy your stay
well the xel'naga left the protoff was because they broke down into tribal wars, the xel'naga didnt want to hurt them so they left. If Zeratul is smart and knows that this time the Xel'Naga may just wipe the protoss out for being failures because the current balance is terrible and new order needs to begin well..i would try my darnest to make my race unite. edit: ulrezaj may be in Wings of Liberty, terrans may not get along with the protoss but Jim Raynor does, as such i wont be surprised if we have dealings with certain Protoss we know Zeratul is one may not be far-fetched to assume Ul is as well. and who knows maybe he will pop up in heart too Kerri: Hey lookit that an ugly protoss Ul: STFU TENTACLE HAIR!!!!
