Hey all, i was just wondering if anybody here is a terrainer. I am looking for some examples that i can study by, and i was wondering why there isn't a terraining thread/section in these forums.

This was a custom design of a battle arena by me..

    But a nice example is:

    Cresent Dyne, fully customized.

scmdraft or starforge... he placed the beacon, then placed a pylon with the bottom tip in the center of the beacon, then placed the shield battery directly over the beacon. voila!

I used X-Tra, in that area beacon = cloaked, same as shield battery. Pylon is removed afterwards. =/

But Scmdraft / Starforge / X-Tra let you stack stuff.

    ew ru serious?

i use scmdraft (rarely), starforge (for triggers, rectangular terraining), campaign editor (normal terrain).

what are the differences between scmdraft and starforge, regarding square terraining? does one work better than the other?

I rather use Scmdraft, over starforge. but thats me. I use scmdraft sometimes when I am triggering. Differences is scmdraft was updated more then starforge =/ I can use scmdraft for every aspect. But I just like to use X-Tra / Campaign editor in boredom sake.
