vBexperience

vBexperience is an addon separate from the Shop which allows you to show off your activity and helpfulness on the forums.

You have two bars in your profile, an orange and a green one. The orange bar is your "Level" bar and displays your experience points. The higher your experience points the higher your level.

The green bar is your activity bar and displays your calculated activity in the last 21 days. Activity also lends to your points.

Here are the points values:

• For each infraction point you will lose 100 vBexperience points.
• For each positive reputation you will receive 100 points.
• For each negative reputation you will lose 200 points.
• For each day you are active you will receive 2 points.
  [*]For each members that joins a social group you create you will receive 3 points.
  [*]For each friend you have you will receive 1 point.
  [*]For each visitor message you have you will receive 0.2 points.
  [*]For each photo in your albums you will receive 2 points.
  [*]For each referral you will receive 200 points.
  [*]For each thread you create you will receive 4 points.
  [*]For each tag you create on a thread you will receive .1 points.
  [*]For each thread vote you will receive 1 point.
  [*]For each thread view you will receive .2 points.
  [*]For each thread you create that is stickied by a moderator you will receive 50 points.
  [*]For each Thank You you will receive 50 points.
  [*]For each post you put a Thank You on you will receive 5 points.

In the future high experience points will count toward minerals and other prizes.

Is the loss permanent or only until the infraction expires? Haha don't get this the wrong way, I'm not into this experience thing too much, I'm just curious.

and will these go in affect (or are they?) for our recent things (i.e. thankl yous and power ups) or does this start now?

I thought about this for quite some time, but I can't figure it out:
What do you mean with a referral? And do you get experience when people view a thread you created? -kinda cool-

 

A referral is when someone new registers on the site and puts your username in as "referrer."

 

The new interface and amount of info is just woah. Very nice improvement, whoever is responsible for it.

Currently the records say "_____ has earned X experience points", and "_____ has lost -X experience points", the latter of which doesn't make sense or should add to the total points at the very least
