This spawning system only requires around 3 locations and 1 burrowed at most. Kinda simple once you get use to doing it. As well you can have as many spawn unit points as you want and still not use more then 3 locations and 1 burrowed unit at most. Unlike most maps that use spawn points always run out of locations. So lets get down to the triggering.

    LOCATIONS:
    - Location 0 = Spawns Burrowed unit.
    - Location 1 = Remote Locations to spawn stuff.
    - Location 2 = Spawner that spawns units at buildings.

    TRIGGER A:

This first trigger is to create the burrowed unit under the selected building or unit for that spawn point. Only issue with this spawn system is must require a build or unit to be at the point to spawn men.

    Conditions
    - Player 7 Commands at least 1 Protoss Gateway.

    Actions
    - Center location Labeled 'Location 0' on Protoss Gateway owned by Player 7 at 'Anywhere'.
    - Give 1 Protoss Gateway owned by Player 7 at 'Location 0' to Player 5.
    - Create 1 Unclean One (Defiler) at 'Location 1 (Remote Location)' for Player 7.
    - Move 1 Unclean One (Defiler) For Player 7 at 'Location 1 (Remote Location)' to 'Location 0'.
    - Preserve Trigger.

This places the unit at any place where a protoss gateway is located. keep in mind must be where units can be placeable for the burrowed units.

    TRIGGER B:

This is just a location that roams around centering the burrowed units to set off the spawn.

    Conditions
    - Player 7 commands at least 1 Unclean One (Defiler).

    Actions
    - Center location labeled 'Location 2' Unclean One (Defiler).
    - Preserve Trigger.

    TRIGGER C:

This trigger here is the spawning one.

    Conditions
    - Player 5 brings exactly 1 Protoss Gateway to 'Location 2'.
    - Player 7 brings exactly 1 Unclean One (Defiler) to 'Location 2'.
    - Player 5 brings exactly 0 Zergling to 'Location 2'.

    Actions
    - Create 2 Zergling at 'Location 2' for Player 5.
    - Give 1 Unclean One (Defiler) owned by Player 7 at 'Location 2' to Player 5.
    - Preserve Trigger.

    TRIGGER D:

This trigger is just to detect if player 5 still has units at the spawn point, if he does will just skip him and move on to next point.

    Conditions
    - Player 5 brings exactly 1 Protoss Gateway to 'Location 2'.
    - Player 7 brings exactly 1 Unclean One (Defiler) to 'Location 2'.
    - Player 5 brings at least 1 Zergling to 'Location 2'.

    Actions
    - Give 1 Unclean One (Defiler) owned by Player 7 at 'Location 2' to Player 5.
    - Preserve Trigger.

    TRIGGER E:

This trigger just removes any spawner that has been killed.[/b]

    Conditions
    - Player 5 brings exactly 0 Protoss Gateway to 'Location 2'.
    - Player 7 brings exactly 1 Unclean One (Defiler) to 'Location 2'.

    Actions
    - Remove 1 Unclean One (Defiler) for Player 7 at 'Location 2'.
    - Preserve Trigger.

    TRIGGER F:

Final trigger is to reset spawns then will reloop all over again since player 7 doesn't command any defilers this will just give it back.

    Conditions
    - Player 7 commands exactly 0 Unclean One (Defiler).

    Actions
    - Give all Unclean One (Defiler) owned by Player 5 at 'anywhere' to Player 7.
    - Preserve Trigger.

Pretty much it. Works best with hyper triggers. Also burrowing must be enabled for player and if your going to use enemy player as giving unit off player 7 make sure enemy won't unburrow and attack. May need to use player 12 to give.

    Hope you enjoy =)

If really needed, you can easily bypass this issue by using another burrowed unit has the required unit or building.

    Good tutorial.

Then again JBL, really only need one burrowed unit for detection and could spawn endlessly without ever being killed. Kinda like some RPGS are were spawns never end =) but I rather where spawn is killable that way it will stop and people can't always feed off it. I did another type of spawn ages ago where everytime a spawner spawns units would remove units from under it. Eg; say I had 5 men under a building would spawn 5 times. But this was a waste of units =/

Yes... of course if you don't want the spawn to be endless, it's better with a building...

hmm could you remind me the name of a map maker that I'm sure you know? ... He was that guy who claimed to be the best at making terrains and claimed to make maps professionally and stuff and that every non-rpg maps was a piece of shit and he used to waste years on rpg maps no one played...

    Please remind me his name.

I have nothing against rpg but I always thought they are much better when made on WC3, it takes much less time too..

Only map makers I hang around is; ImaGine, WoodenFire, Fwop_, Lethal_Illusion, Devilesk and few others. Only one whom sounds kinda like that is Dark_Lunatic_K. Is that him? sorry kinda hard to think who ya thinking of.

WC3 maybe nicer for RPGS but editor is crappy user friendly and I rather play sc over wc3 =)

Well only map I know of that WoodenFire creating is Crescent Dyne. Terrain is nice in it. Lethal is doing the triggers and is a lot of advance, nice concepts triggers. But taken along time to make it.

Oh you don't talk to devilesk now?

Clan i)D hmm I knew a guy in that clan whom like to make dbz movie maps or special effects. I think I always joined that clan once.

    MarineCorp, thx you =)

He's probably the original writer of this tutorial, but obviously not the first person to come up with it.

There are actually many ways to create spawning points on maps.

This is a great tutorial for begginers to get the idea of triggers and conditions, etc. Really great work on it.

Privateparts, I've never taken a thing off maplantis. I've written this myself off top my head. If I was too use something from maplantis would say Source: Maplantis at very top.. So before ya go saying things that are not true get your facts right.

I'm glad this use helpful to ya all.
