    How to Capture Screenshots
    Written by ImaGiNe.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    - Windows 98 or higher
    - StarCraft (Or any other PC video game)
    - Graphics Program (I.E. Irfanview, FastStone Image Viewer)

Have you ever wondered how to take those in-game screenshots? Well today is your lucky day! Not only will you become enlightened but you will walk away with a feeling of accomplishment. Enough prep talk! Let us begin with the tutorial:

    STEP 1:
Open up the map and find the event you would like to take a screen capture of.

    STEP 2:
Once the desired event is taking place or before it begins, press PRINT SCREEN on your keyboard.

    STEP 3:
Your game will say something similar to Screen00.pcx has been saved. You've just captured a screen!

    STEP 4:
Conratulations! You now have a screenshot of your map or something of that sort! Now you question "Where the hell did the screenshot go?!"

    STEP 5:
Go to your START button on the bottom left and click on My Computer, find the drive where your StarCraft was previously installed. Scroll down a bit and find the file called Screen00 and open it.

NOTE: You will need a graphics application that can view .pcx files, I recommend downloading the free IrfranView software which can be found here.

You could use this to capture an interesting event in your map, however this technique is not just limited to video games, you can use it to capture any screen content that is dominant in your monitor.

There are programs that can capture screens and actually record, but why download something when your computer can do it almost right out of the box.

If anyone would like a free unlimited version of fraps, i'll upload it when i get back from the east coast :)

PM me if interested. Its useful for getting reps on youtube. It lags my comp to all hell though, so you need a fairly decent computer to use it.

all you do is hit the hotkey (F9 for me) to start, and then again to stop.

You can also take one big video, and cut it up.

Anyone still need the full version?
