So for this past week I needed to bring my laptop to school to work on a presentation. No drops, no viruses etc. Was able to use my laptop just fine at the end of the week. After a couple days of non usage, I went ahead and tried to use my computer and while listening to music on youtube I heard crackling from the audio. thinking it was just the youtube link, I realized that also the computer slowed down at that if I was to try watching a video, the video would also slow down (overall the computer would slow down). After, the laptop would then turn off.

I tried a couple of system restores, but no luck. After letting it rest, it would run just fine until the 3rd or 4th media i would try to watch or listen to, then the computer would slow down again, the audio crackling would return and if i tried anything the laptop would turn off

The computer is an a300 series toshiba satellite laptop only 4 years old or so. windows 7 has been working just fine for me until now. but I feel that it would be a hardware problem than the software

    need help please!

    thank you

I can almost guarantee that it's either a Driver or a Hardware problem with either your GPU or your Onboard Sound. Make sure to download the latest Drivers for your laptop from Toshiba's website.
