Trying to find players

hey guys im new here and well trying to find a gang of SC fans to play against. Ive joined a couple of starcraft hamachi servers but could only get into a few because pretty much all were full. Anyways i created a new hamachi network, so do join if your a regular/seasoned starcraft player. I hope to continue from where i left off which was like 4 years ago. Anyways please join!!!, i need to get my game up and learn from ya'll.

What's wrong with Battle.net or ICCUP? I'd come play a few games with you if it were on either of those. I don't know much about hamachi.

 

right.. i didnt know about iccup. Thanks for that. Are there normally lots of guys playing? (battlenets skrwd up)

 

Hamachi servers are for messing around with both UMS and melee games while Iccup is a melee ranking server.

What do you mean by that? No you only need to have access to Sc to play on Iccup.

That's why you can't play on battle.net?

I play on iCCup because I can't SEE my b.net servers.

iCcup is mostly better melee people playing, and usually many are good, but you can always find a UMS on, and its a smaller, dedicated community of gamers.

WCIII support and CS support is available as well.

 

So how do I go about connecting to this ICCUP thing?

And its 4.57 MB last time I downloaded. You were trying to download another copy of Starcraft.

 

You have to download the cilent which changes your current Sc vers into like 1.59.8 or something but it's an older vers of Sc. After that it will add a extra Iccup gateway onto the B.net gateways. You gotta register on the site or else you can't play it without an account. There is also an anti hack which prevents using hacking tools, etc and also gain you extra points from each match.
The ranking system for Iccup is D- being lowest and A+ I think is the highest. Most average Sc players are ranked C+ - B and most pro league Sc players are ranked B - A+ there rankings of course is estimates.

 

There is new rank beyond A+ thats 6 rings Iccup and you do not need to downgrade your sc at all, there is a 1.16.1 patcher so your good to go, all you need is that and the iccup launcher

 

its 5 rings. Olympic or Pro or something like that. And iCCup is now fully 1.16.1.

 

Ok so the patcher isn't needed but using the anti hack launcher is better tho.
