Blizzard must be working on another game most likly Diablo 3, Check this out

If you notice in this link Starcraft2 has an icon next to jobs, PLUS starcraft 2 is done with character art. they are making new things and hiring now during all the starcraft2 hype to hide it! What do you think?

 

But all those jobs are for MMOs and Diablo's not an MMO. Maybe it's something completely new or they're recruiting people for the Wrath of the Lich King. But the opening for the SC2 UI is pretty intriguing. Maybe this is a sign they're working on the Zerg.

Strange. Maybe it really is a new game in a completely new world using completely new technology. Maybe it'll be announced at the next Invitational/Blizzcon. If so, then that's when the Zerg will prolly be revealed too.

 

Diablo 2 may not be an MMO but whose to say Diablo 3 wouldn't be? After all, Blizzards biggest cash cow is an MMO, what makes you think they wouldn't like to have a new one.

Although, it oculd be a new series, but they haven't had a new series since SC1.

Because that might require them to kill off WoW, which they don't want to risk since it's making them a huge amount of money. Making a new MMO when WoW's still the hottest MMO in the world is terrible for business since they spend a huge amount of money developing the game, and no one's going to pay subscription fees for two MMOs when they can only play one at the same time. And the nature of MMOs don't really let you switch over to other games so easily. So that would be spending money on a product that's not going to net you any real returns until at least a year later or whenever the WoW craze dies down.

 

Starcraft 2 is basicly done, the zerg is done. all thier doing is fine tuning it, making everything flow and fixing shadows, simple stuff to make it better by the time its released most likely April. They are simply holding the Zerg back to keep us thinking and waiting. To not have anything done this late in production is Bad buisness. This secret game proably wont float to news for another few years or more.

 

If it really is real at all. From the sounds of it, it looks like Blizzard's trying to do something completely new.

 

hmm, i think it would be something new, it only makes sense. again as mentioned before, y would blizzard make 2 mmo's? not making any buisness sense as al they are doing is splitting their WoW fan base in half. No, i think its a new game because it is about time. they have been updating all their previous games and have not mentioned a new game. but with the succes of blizzard they could easily make a new universe with a nice story line just to add to their collection. but then again they really do not even need to do that, WoW is really the back bone of their succes. They are doing fine with out anything else

 

As of now it's really the only thing that nets them money as sales of SC and WC as well as Diablo are quite tiny.

 

Yup, those games have sort of passed, because the players of those games have probably had their games for quite somewhile by now.

 

Hm, something new wouldnt be bad at all, maybe a 1st person shooter, or a quest or some other genre.

They have an MMO, a RPG, a RTS, now they need racing game, 1st person shooter, quest etc.

 

Maybe Blizzard's making WoW 2. But whatever it is, from the job listings alone, it's gonna pretty awesome. Some of these jobs normally aren't for MMOs at all, as previously mentioned. Which brings up some seriously big questions. Also this is probably a bit odd but it could be possible that they're working on an MMORTS. It's kind of out there but they didn't really specify that it was an MMORPG, just an MMO, so it could technically be any MMO. Actually, I wouldn't mind if they made some kind of a MMOFPS where everyone's pretty much in one huge battle.

 

hmm that would be awesome, somewhere in the forums someone explained a game that got cancled but was kool sounding. you picked if u wanted to be a civilian or a soldier, then you sort of lived their life. as a soldier u protected your planet from the outside invasions, and you could increase in rank and stuff like that. and the civilians were incharge of supplying and the construction of defences and upgrades. they could also direct attacks and stuff at higher levels. I cant remember the game, but if blizzard makes something like that i would be so happy! but i dont think a racing game would be blizzards speed, and especcialy an mmo racing game... how would that work???

 

they already got a racing game, and what is a guest game?

 

Hmm..perhaps SC: Ghost is going MMO..... when I first saw it I thought it was WoW, except it was Starcraft. This would be a pleasant surprise.

Maybe they're planning for the future? In several years' time when the WoW craze finally starts to die-down they release another MMO and re-take the market.
