Hey i have never place a starcraft game or any blizzard game in my life and i was wondering if im fresh and new to this game will i just always get domolished? I dunno its just people have been playing this game (well the 1st atleast) for years and Im no expert at rts and i want to know is it worth picking this up? I was thinking about pre-ordering cause it looks really good and a game i would like to get into but i dont know if its worth it cause im new thnx for any answers!
If your new, you will be matched with newer players. I wouldn't worry. I highly recommend it, but if your not a big fan of RTS games. Then probably not.
If your only interested in multiplayer i'm not too sure unless you are prepared to practise alot against computers. If your just interested in getting into RTSs generally though i strongly recommend playing SC2 for its custom game scene and its singleplayer both are alot less stressful and are well worth the price anyway haha. The matchmaking system though is pretty good once you get the basics down pat and i'm sure when the game is released to everyone you'll find lots of new players who are at your level.
What about single player? We still do not know how easy or hard it will be and what the difficulty curve will be there.
This wont be my first rts i have experience with rts and i think im gonna pre-order and yes im buying for the multiplayer thnx everyone im sure if i play enough ill get good
hehe I have to admit myself I never played versus battles in warcraft 3, yet it is one of my most played games and its all thanks to the campaign and custom games Custom games did so much for warcraft 3 it is mind boggling
