hey all, i had purchased SC2 (regular version) and then upgraded to the Collectors Edition just yesterday. When i went in game i received the new portraits and got the Dedicated Fan achievement. but while playing the game i did notice that my Thors did not get the updated skin they are supposed to have. i tried re-installing the game thinking that it may halp but didnt. im on windows 7. any ideas?
I know nothing about Collectors Edition. Will mod the topic's title to reflect that you are talking about Collectors Edition.
Owners of the Collector's edition get a different model of the Thor then owners of the regular edition. Normal: Collector's edition: Posting this here for the people who didn't notice the differences yet. As for your problem, I haven't a clue of what's making your game not respond to the changed properly. Perhaps you can play a game with a friend to check if the model is showing up correctly for them? Then at least you know if the problem lies with your installation of the game, instead of with battle.net (perhaps) not upgrading your game correctly.
Yeah, here's a good question, did you ADD your Collectors Edition product key to your battle.net account? I have no idea how you went about upgrading to collectors edition, but did you add the key? :/
