Thinking about purchasing SC2

I've been thinking of buying SC2, but the only reason that I really played the first SC was the UMS games, I love them so.

How is the UMS games on SC2? Is it totally worth it to buy the game?

 

I remember UMS games on Starcraft 1, those had me playing for YEARS after I got tired of the melee games. I haven't played SC2 yet but from what I know SC2 should be even better for UMS games as it offers much more customization, and freedom since the technology behind it is much newer.

 

Same here, I'm just hoping somebody that has it can give me their opinions about how the UMS works and how fun it is.

 

I am not a big fan on RTS's but some how i like SC2 even on the worst graphics


the game is real nice,has some nice cutscenes and i like it so far

Atm UMS are mainly tower defence and zone control. The map editor is ALOT more powerful than SCs so give it a few weeks and there will be alot more awesome ones.
