    but in the novel queen of blades, it was said that both high and void energies are mostly the same, only their mastering is different

    Well, they are the same(they're both cosmic radiation). The difference here is that void energies are up in space above the planet and khala energies are sub-atmospheric.

    Besides, you shouldn't listen to Rosenburg anyway. That entire novel was him just pulling stuff out of his ass. It was good writing but it seems like he didn't even play the missions or read the manual. Besides, there has to some sort of a difference between them or else any protoss could destroy a cerebrate.

    aka. entropy Thats true, but i'm just saying that this energy collects up above a planet.

    Yes, the underlying energy that exists in all space. Entropy is kinda similar if you think about it.

    But it doesn't matter because they don't use that type of energy. Remember that the overmind had to plant himself over Aiur's nexus(the temple). The overmind uses void energy and the nexus is the source of this energy for the overmind therefore the dark templar most likely also draw their power from a planets nexus.
