This game kicks my ass. Some of the decisions you have to make in this game are horrible. Ex: kill a bunch of terrorists who kill innocent people or save a group of innocent women and children from ghouls. Some of these decisions are harder than any I'll prolly make IRL. Anyone else play/played it here?
I've looked at it, and it looks WAY awesome. I just don't like buying games. What would you rate it out of 10?
At least a 9. There's a few graphical bugs and a very few of the translations are a little weird, but once you overlook that, the gameplay and story is amazing. You actually have to time your attacks carefully instead of the old hack-and-slash gameplay. The world isn't really open like the Elder Scrolls games, but it's still a pretty open world. Now the story is one of the best ever. It's deep, mature, and the decisions you make in the game really affect the world around you. It tackles some modern issues like racism. Some of the things in the game are things you should be able to relate to. If you like RPGs with good gameplay and amazing story, definitely get this game. It's worth more than it costs.
imo it plays too slow, and is just plain old boring. the only good part was all the "trading cards" you could collect.
Necroposting ftw! I beat the game yesterday, all in all a great experience, especially from the story/flavour side. I see how it could get boring for some - for the most part I'd just finish few quests and take a break (compared to say King's Bounty where I only stopped playing when I had to for some reason). But saying that cards are the only good thing is far from truth. The strongest point imo is the choices which not only are rarely black and white, but you usually won't immediately see their results - sometimes they even appear in another chapter. Conversations - at least in Polish version - are also great, I especially love the use of swear words which was done with a lot of taste and reflects the setting really well. PS: Fisher King rules.
