In particular, the SCVs, Thor, and (in other clips) the viking. However, the thing that bugs me the most is the Terran AI. This AI voice sounds really dull and boring... unlike the crisp computer voice from the original. Maybe the voices are only placeholders, but if so, why not use sound files from the original? I really hope these aren't permanent -_-. agree/ disagree? If you share my concerns I mate a post on the Bnet forums that you can bump. I look forward to this discussion. I hate videos like that. You can't get a good look at the action because it's too far away and at an angle. As for the voices what I could make out wasn't bad. Maybe you should wait before you freak out.
I hope the Thor doesn't become overused. I like the voices, except the cyborg AI voice. I agree. Too dull. Snort something for god sake. And this may be shallow of me, but why cant they make her attractive.
A shallow and dull voice fits a shallow and dull face. It sounds like it looks like. What more could you ask of? The Thor sounds great, but I am undecided about the SCV's and Viking's voice.
The advisors voice sounds almost indentical to the C&C3 GDI advisors voice... i hope they change it to sound more futuristic or at least less natural. I like all the other voices , but the thor could sound a little bit more unique since it sounds very much like the battlecruiser.
It's probably due to the poor quality of the video that you think they sound alike. The Thor sounds like Arnold Schwarzenegger while the BC's cap'n has a russian accent.
Thor voice actor is lame, I agree. SCV is even worse. I liked the Battlecruiser and the Banshee. Used the same voice actors as the BC and the Dropship from SC1. Good stuff. As for the Adjudant? I don't mind her voice at all.
I actually really liked the banshee, but i just wanted to put an axe through the computer every time i heard the SCV.
