    No.

From today's picks I might get Recettear, but that's about it

Recettear is surprising amounts of fun.

There's a lot of lesser known games that are on sale, just not advertised, for instance the Syberia games are half price if you enjoy those clicky puzzle/adventure games,

Did you play it? How big of a factor are dungeons in the game and how does combat work?

    I've dabbled in it.

Dungeons are definitely necessary from what I've gathered, as you get 100% profit items (instead of buying a sword for 2100 and selling for 2800, you just straight up sell it for 2800). Combat is hack'n'slash, not turn based. The game is deceptively difficult imo, or maybe I just suck at it.

Also, Borderlands is 7.50USD for the game and all four DLCs and is awesome in coop. Single is decent too, just more repetitive.

I don't really like tb combat anyway, gets boring fast.

I've had Borderlands forever, still waiting for a friend to get good enough comp so we can play together. Finished solo with hunter and mostly soldier

The sniper class is definitely my favourite, but the Siren is fun imo, if only because her ele powers get heavily boosted.

Yeah, loads of explosives. He's very cool to use with life drain grenades, combined with melee and a medium range shotgun. Had a ton of fun just wading through enemies and staying alive. Found it more entertaining to play a cartoony game like that, instead of trying to kill stuff from afar without ever being in much danger.

This valve pack sounds intriguing. I've heard positive stuff about most games in it. Any of you got negative stuff to mention aboot it?

Not really. Half Life, Portal, and TF2 are generally the highest rating games on most review sites.

If you just want Half Life though, Half Life Complete (every release Half Life game ever) is 10 bucks today and today only.

The way the Steam Sale works is tricky. The packs will last the ENTIRE sale. However, the Daily Deals are a better deal.

If you just want that ONE game, wait for it to go on a Daily. If it never goes on a Daily, you can buy the pack at the end of the sale.

    Anyone tried Darksiders yet?

Also, Recettear is quite fun indeed. Lost badly when I had to pay up 200 000 :(

    I played it.

I thought it was fun. It's extremely hack'n'slash, but fun. You get different abilities, upgrades, combos, etc. It also has an awesome storyline imo (you play as an ostricized Horseman of the Apocalypse, kicked out for preemptively stopping the end of the world... Or something)

It is like a hack & slash Zelda with a great story. I really, really liked it. The only problem is that there's no new game +, and that it takes quite a while to even max out 1 weapon... so you can't keep going untill you have literally everything at it's most powerful.

If you don't mind that, then go get it, you won't be disappointed. Just please use a controller (like an xbox360 one), because this game is damn near impossible on a keyboard.

I got Terraria at half price. I've already gotten more playtime out of it than Portal. For most people that's not saying much, but I run through Portal whenever I get bored. I would pay 25 dollars for Terraria.
