We don't have a bunch of information about Earth, other than it's overcrowded. It just hasn't been an important part to the story OR gameplay.

However, with the fact that Kerrigan is the new Swarm leader, Auir has already been decimated, and the Humans still heavily resisting the Zerg, do you think that the Queen ***** will try to take the fight to the Terran/UED doorstep?

I don't think she can, she's probably having too much problems as it is. Most of the resources will be used up and the zerg interest in earth would likely be in infesting everyone once kerrigan perfects it.

Well that's exactly it. There's billions upon billions of humans at this point. And all things considered, they're a very powerful race. Think about it. Fairly advanced technology, insane growth in all factors, extremely adaptable body, and immense psyonic potential

its very simple, if the Xel'naga want to eliminate all life, their first target is earth and if the zerg perfect infestation their main target wil be earth

Dont think Kerrigen would ever succed in destroying earth. As we know, the UED force were only a tiny tiny expedition force. There are probably millions of UED soldiers.

The greatest powers in history have been routed by thinking themselves too powerful. If Kerrigan is under pressure, and the opportunity to eliminate a large amount of the UED defense force arises (a strategic blunder for example) the chance to get those billions of soldiers blissfully unaware of earth, might be worth the risk.

Kerrigan probably does have a lot on her hands but really if she wants to destroy earth wouldn't she already have launched the assault I mean come on I know I wouldn't wait 14 years to plan an attack, seriously She was once a person of earth so she does know how strong the UED really is.

    Not destroy people.

    Infest.

And zkid, she's not from the UED, she was from the Confederacy

  9. She wasn't on Earth either. Although, it's possible he means Humans/Terrans when he says "a person of Earth".

It's already been confirmed that StarCraft 2 will have nothing to do with Earth. There's too much stuff going on in the Koprulu Sector.

IMO the Earth is too far away for even Kerrigan to mount an effective attack, just like it was difficult for the UED to not fight on their own turf.

Assuming we think of the factions involved we have the Zerg. Right now we all assume that the Zerg are not the species they are. Not only do I think it is possible, but I think that it would be likely to occur. However, this would only happen if the Koprulu Sector fell to her Swarm.

Assuming Kerrigan would take control of the Sector she would not only have the capabilities to get to earth. The Swarm would continue to spread unheeded across the Universe until it reached Earth. They would gather resources, new species, and continue to evolve. By the time they reach Earth they would not only have the numbers to take it on they would have the power to.

They would use the deep space travel of the Behemoths( The strain used to create Overlords and now Overseers subsequently.) to travel there. And the rest you can pretty much assume.

The major factors we can see being involved are the Xel'Naga and the survivors in the Korprulu Sector. But then again this is just speculation. :D

I doubt Kerrigan would go after Earth, not until she's dealt with the protoss, Mengsk, the hybrids... it would be a waste of resources, and she might not be able to control zerg at that distance either.

Yes, it would be risky but the potential might be necessary if she is pressured by the Xel'naga for instance.
