Anyone else remember this often forgotten movie?

I've only seen it a few times, but everytime I do, it makes me wish movie companies did animations the way they used to, before CG became the norm. The majority of the animators for the movie had first worked at Disney but left to create thier own studio. They attempted to revitalize the old animation style, meaning all the animation was done my hand without computer graphics.

I see this as one of the most underated animated movies, better animation than most old Disney movies, yet most people forget about it.

One surprising fact I found out was that in the book, Mrs. Brisby's name was really Mrs. Frisby, but due to copyright issues with the porducer of the toy frisbee, they were forced to change it late in the films production, after all the voice acting had already been finished. Whats even more amazing was that since the voice actress who did her voice was no longer available to redo the acting, they had to carefully edit out the "F" sound whenever she said her name and add in a "B" sound she said somewhere else in the movie, yet you wouldn't notice anything odd about her voice when she would introduce herself.

Also, I say the song at the ending credits is one of the best I've ever heard in a G rated movie.

I don't think I've had the luck to see it. Until yesterday that is.
    Beautiful, simply beautiful.

Seems like a fantastic movie. Thanks for the tip.

By the way, how about Pixar? They have taken the magic of drawn movies into the cgi age. They are an exception, though. Most cgi movies are the worst I have ever seen.
