I didn't see any post about that structure, and I wonder why this structure will nt lift up anymore.

You see this structure got its normal appearance from the original Starcraft, so it must still lift up.

I suppose Blizzard want to confuse us to earn time to make SC2, and gives us doubts to spend our time in rumors, debates, etc ...

It looks like before in 3d. If it looses liftoff it also should loose the "legs" they would look silly otherwise.

maybe this structure will house also the previous upgrades found on the academy since i think it was removed. i believe its better to retain its lift off ability though

Now that you mention that it does. I miss the old buildings. The new units look awesome for the most part but so far a great majority of the new redesigned buildings totally suck

They do. It seems they spent all their time and effort on military units. I shudder to think of what the Drone looks like

Terran buildings should be redesigned although I like the way the barracks look like.

well, think of it like this; if it so goddamn ugly you cant even stand it-use it. play as protoss or zerg and use that hate to increase your aggressiveness and will to win and destroy those discusting buildings before the opponent beats you and win. lol.

the probe looks fine, but i barfed all over the screen when i saw a close-up of the SCV.

No the probe is not OK its ugly. The fins on the original gave it a cool sleek fast look. Now they look like something you put a lightbulb in

terran buildings look like plastic. rubber. im not impressed. i reckon it could be improved heaps just in the way the colour is used though, there's something about the colours used that just give it that toy look. colours seem too vivid, and too shiny, i donknow maybe thats not it. but there's somethin about those buildings that just doesnt look roughened up enough.

they dont look heavy enough to act as a paper weight...

i actually like that the engineering bay doesnt lift off though. the idea of lifting buildings off, to me,... should be limited to things that need to move. you need to move the cc and barracks for example if you wish to produce units on certain areas of the map. you dont need to lift of a supply depot though, because its function will be the same no matter where on the map it is. likewise with the engineering bay.

    hope that made sense.
