Kinda related to races and story me think I wonder if i was alone to be pretty dissapointed on the collector editions artbook, not cause of the drawings...but the lack of lore and in-deep unit description like core genus and "namedropping like "glave worm" and "kaiser blades" in the foreword of the artbook Doctor Samwise does according to me speak of a secondary volume of the artbook, however since he only refer to it as the first "Starcraft art book" its possibly he talk about the old Starcraft 1 manual? :jimlad: Anyway i think its a pitty if this artbook is all we shall get, and no containing coverage of new units and new story lines, i dont either wanna have this books that some suspect writers will start to release soon fi it follows previous patterns, i want the official real unit coverage The things i question is why we could not have a PDF file on the disc like with W3? since all that text couldn't fill a paper-manual without being a gunnies world record attempt anyway I dunno if i shall shut up and be pleased with this, http://us.starcraft2.com/features/terran/ but i feel "there must be more to life than this"
Wc3 was made pre-WoW. It is the last great name that Bliz made before commiting suicide and infesting itself with Activision.
When VIACOM handed down the ultimatum for Blizzard to make WoW, and to make it a subscription service, there was a huge shake up inside of Blizzard. All of the 5 founders left the company, 2 went on to use the technology that they wanted to put into WoW to make Guild Wars, not sure where the others went. Also, all of the internal Diablo 2 beta testers quit around that time. It really destroyed the Diablo 2 dev team, which is why Diablo 3 is almost a completely new team (if not entirely). If it wasn't for StarCraft 2 having pretty much the same team + new people, I highly doubt it would have turned out this well. I don't think Diablo 3 will be any good.. personally. The fact its even being made is a joke to me.
