This person keeps trying to sell beta keys to people. Which is clearly against the rules.
I did not buy obviously. .

 

He's already banned.

Funny, he sent me a message 04-15-2010, 09:18 AM about wanting me to chat to him. I thought banned people could not send PM's anymore. Maybe I'm wrong about that I dunno.

And entrapment? Maybe. Be initiated the whole thing, and I just went along till he coughed up the figure. I had no intention of buying a beta key from this person. Police do the same thing every day in secret operations to catch criminals.

But I do take your entrapment warning seriously .

 

Damnit, again? He's been banned from about three forums that I've seen. And, from that email address, it's possible he has an alt on SCL. I better warn Gifted or Gradius if I do find that he is alting.

He also told me that he had sold several keys at the $200.00 price point. I guess he was lying since he had to lower it . This guy is great entertainment. God bless him!

 

Well clearly some people buy keys, otherwise these people wouldn't keep trying. Sigh. Why is this in the Starcraft discussion, by the way?

 

Actually, I'd say that's exactly what he's doing. He failed to sell a key to about fifty posters over at SCL and he still kept trying. He even put up with long talks with the moderators ... and yet he never sold a key.
