I know Blizzard already made clear that there won't be Terran or Zerg versions of the Mothership, don't get me wrong.

But what if they made a Terran super unit where you had to combine other Terran units/buildings to make? Like, you need a factory for the body, two BCs splitting into arms and legs, two tanks for feet, two goliaths for hands, and a science vessel for the head. Then you combine them all Transformer style to make one giant robot or something.

It would be so stupid, but it would be so funny. I think I'd laugh so hard, especially if they had Transformer sound effects. ;D

Geez... I think this is the stupidest thing I posted anywhere in a long time.

    Optimus Prime... Go!

Can you imagine the size of a robot made with Terran buildings? It could make my dream of stepping on Kerrigan a reality! :D :D :D But it's probably a lame idea, too many cartoons have been based on robots transforming into other stuff for it to work out. Plus, it's a lame idea. Imagine a crappy Japanese, Power Rangers-esque, anime song playing in the background as that thing transfoms.

Err you mean like my idea in the other topic?
    http://www.starcraft2forum.org/forums/index.php?topic=38.15

Terrans can have mothership-unit that can be mounted from several smaller units.

    - Battlecruiser
    - Valkyrie
    - Siege tank
    - Ghost
    - Science Vessel

A player can choose any units from the above menu and "mount" the units together to form a larger more power unit. Say if you mounted a Valkyrie with a Siege Tank, then this new unit can launch anti-air rockets as well as bombarding units on the ground.
Then u can mount a Science Vessel into the Valkyrie-Tank and now this unit can cast spells. Then a ghost goes onboard this unit and now it can launch nukes.

I drew this idea from the add-ons of Terran structures, of course, the mountable units menu would be the one in SC2

Oh yeah finally, the mothership-unit can be demounted at anytime. So the above would revert back into a valk, a tank, a sci vessel, a ghost.

i had an obsession of making everything symetric.
I think the terran ultiamate unit will be somekind of bomb or something.
They make terrans sound like rednecks from the old southern confederates (the terran confederacy!!!)
so its gonna be some ridiculous last resort style weapon
    Nuke storm!!!!

Weather storm, scud storm, black hole, chronosphere, ion cannon, tiberium bomb, fuel bomb, iron curtain, nuke strike (and the big c&c nuke strike, not the pesky starcraft one). Most stupid thing in c&c, BIG destruction by just pushing a button.

^ Well you can't say it isn't realistic. Protoss and Terran can easily sterilize planets, which is more than any C&C faction can do. And you forgot Psychic Dominator and Genetic Mutator :p.

I forgot alot more. Don't care. Its a stragetic game. Would like to play against a protoss and after 15 minutes see the text:

    Player x sterilized planet!
    Player X wins.

;D No, I'm sure that Blizzard said that for most players a game will last 15-20 minutes which is little time to reach tier 3, let alona the imaginary tier 4 that the sterilization thing would belong to. But it could be an option. Mwahahahahaaaa!!!!

the protoss motherships's planet cracker should actually crack the planet, and if its a space platform that section should just float away.

you fail to achieve victory due to your base floating away

I remembered someone suggested having the Ion Cannon as Terran's ultimate unit..

Any race are capable of Sterilizing planets. The confederates did it to Korhal. The protoss did it to Chau Sara and Mar Sara. The Zerg did it to Aiur.

That reminds me about the Ion cannon in SC1 plot. Well, I wonder who did CNC copy the idea of Ion Cannon from SC ? :-X
However, I do hope that Terran Super Unit is a unit that has several special abilities rather than a building that has ability to fire anywhere of the map as this is not suitable in SC world :p

Zerg infesting a planet and killing its dominant species doesn't really make the planet "sterile". :p Even if they did manage to kill everything on the planet, the Zerg themselves would still count as lifeforms on the planet.

I think the StarCraft Ion Cannon was ripped straight from from Star Wars.

Check this out, for a list of Ion Cannon appearances: Wikipedia's Ion Cannon Article. Yes, they have an article on Ion Cannons.
