Terran strategy help.

Hi! Im pretty new to Starcraft 2, been playing for about three weeks now. When i first decided to start playing PvP i check alot of strategy guides, forums and stuff like that. Thought i had it pretty much under control. I also checked some macro guides and tips, and im pretty good at that to now. So i played my 5 Placement Matches, it went pretty good, i won 4 out of 5 i think. I got into the silver legue. Then my friend wanted to start doing 2v2 so i only played 2v2 for a while. We ruled, he is korean so we never loose ^^ Anyways, when i decided to focus on 1v1 again, it all went to ****. I lost like 80% of all the matches and i got demoted to the bronze legue. The thing is i don't really know what im doing wrong. The strategys i use the most are MMM or tank's and infantry. As i said before i have read ALOT of guides and check alot of replays, but i can't really figure out what im doing wrong. Usually my opponent attacks me first and takes me out. Or i attack (drop in the back of his base) but then he usually has a bigger army then me and slaughters my forces, then goes straight for my base. And i have noticed that alot of players expand really early in the game, ive tried this but it put's me to far behind in the economy and i have to stop building my army until i am done expanding. Could anyone give me some tips?

This is the first time i post in these forums, if i have made any mistakes tell me and i will try to correct them.

LOl he is korean so we never lose haha.

So if you could provide a replay that would be nice. From what you wrote, it seems like your macro could be lacking to pull off any Terran Strategies that you have in mind. For example, you said that you attack their base, they have more units then you. (they had better economy? or they had better counts to your units?)

So here are some quick terran strategies and tips for you
    1. Build your scvs at all time, do not stop producing them, if you cannot remember to do it,. Just queue up a few and go do something else. There is no quick and easy route to make workers like Protoss and Zerg
    2. Don't get supply locked, always have a supply queued up. Supply depot takes longer to build compared to pylons and overlord fyi.
    3. If you have a strong economy, don't worry too much about micro that much at the bronze level. Remember to produce a lot of units, build scvs and expand.

Let me know how these tips and strategies work for you. you can also check out my website for Starcraft 2 terran strategies

Thx for the tips! Im getting by fine in bronze, winning almost every game :p But im still afraid that it will go downhill once i get up to silver again. In bronze ive been trying some new tactics, and one i find very useful is doing standard MMM drop, but at the same time Nuke the front of his base. Sometimes i bring 2 or 3 Siege tanks aswell. Is this something that could work in silver/gold? One more thing, sometimes i find myself having waaay to much minerals. After i have done my MMM drop, and done some harm to his base. Im usually up to about 1000 or more minerals, even when i continue to produce units. When this happens, should i expand? Should i create more Barracks/Factorys/Starports?

if too much minerals in the later game then it is not too bad, but in early/mid games it means your macro needs to improve? or not structuring your income correctly for your build? is it that you have extra minerals left because you run out of gas?

the confidence is also a key here... and it is a *****. too much you will go down, too little you will go down too.
