Terran Ship Spotted: What is it?

Take a look at that ship between the battleships.
What is that?

 

Seen it before but never actually wondered what it is, I always thought it was just a dropship. I'm more curious about the fact what another one is doing on that dock (thought those docks were just level props)

 

Looks just like the dropships from the GameplayVideo.
I could be wrong though.

 

Well, it looks similar to the dropships on orginal so they might be normal dropships, hmmm i spotted that docking ship aswell. We might see a big advance into ship creating buildings

 

Yeah, but it looks like its space level only... Maybe its a spot where you can dock ships as a hiding place?

Looks like a neutral Dropship on that platform, maybe the thing in the dock is neutral too. Just a silly prop

 

^ I can't see a dropship at all; is it the right picture? I see the one where many Stalkers teleport around and on the right platform there's a Terran base.

Yes, you're right this time, it looks like a neutral dropship. Can't imagine why it's neutral, though...

And as a side-note, those Phoenixes are so retarded. They're like miles away from Battlecruisers (not even Mutas) and they're all overloading. :-\

 

To me it doesn't look a unit ship at all. It looks more like part of the space platform's graphics work, because they are virtually the same colour and have the same features. I could be wrong though.

Phoenix is so lame, they give the protoss and "organic" feel. and this organic feel should be exclusive to the zerg.

BTW. Yes they do look like props... Maybe this map is part of the terran home ground? Or the protoss/zerg are invading after terran have settled.

 

It's a pretty random place to have a Dropship though, right? In between two Battlecruisers while they're being attacked...

Yes, faintly. 3 seconds after the screenshot was taken, they're probably all dead.

 

It looks exactly the same as a dropship. But its probably a prop yeah.

If they do have ships going in and out of docks like that I think it will just be background animation or purely scripted.

 

It looks like it's on a lower level than the BCs....Also, we've seen dropships. Anybody have a screen shot?

 

That hammerlike nose had me wondering if it was a Valkyrie or a new-age ship, but sure enough... it's the same style of ship that appeared at the invitational demo, dumping off Marines at the start.

I damn sure hope its nothing scripted that you can kill. Because I have the ugly habit of wrecking everything thats not mine/allied, enemy or not. And in mplayer games I will be wasting valuable time by destroying stuff I shouldn't ;D
