Terran Dominion Admiral

In the demo video, you see a talking portrait the Terran commander, named Admiral Gestavil (Or something along those lines). What part, if any, do you think he will play in the Starcraft 2 storyline? Is he just a replacement General Duke, blowing up what Mengsk tells him to, but not really doing anything else? Or will he play some larger role in the story?

 

nah, he's just another cannon fodder i supose. He would be probabl unplayable like Aldaris was (even if he is,i expect 1 or maybe 2 missions with him).

 

He's too old to play an important part in the storyline. He'll probably just serve as an obstacle for the real heroes, or be a sort of flat archetype character that amuses you with his predictable reactions. His name is interesting, though. ;D

Don't think he hates them, he told the protoss to back off in the gameplay trailer, if he hates aliens he would have attacked them right away ;D

 

well it didnt take him any time to get those seige tanks there.
or maybe in multiplayer when you do something that annoys the enemy player, it plays one of those portraits ;D :thumbup:

The ghosts wear white uniforms. That means that they are a different faction than the other terran troops, who are red.

White? Isn't that the UED? It could be the Confederacy, but they're dead aren't they?

White is alpha squadron, let by Edmund Duke. It's also the UED.

I believe he's just the battlecruiser portrait.
