Terran Air Defense: Big Hole So Far

Where's the Valkyries? Or, any weapon to do splash damage to air targets? It's very hard to tell just what units are powerful or not from the demos, because they've obviously played with the various weapons and abilities to showcase the results.

Perhaps the plasma array will be useful against air? That'd be nice against mutalisks. The Banshees are already out, according to the website--they're pretty much Valkyries for use against ground targets.

They are.

The predator and viking, as well as the BC, are more than enough air defense. Especially due to the predator's intercept ability, which shoots down incoming attacks. One of the coolest abilities ever.

Their intercept ability just kicks a$$. Plus it's one of the cooler-looking units Terran has.

 

Yeah I like the defensive ability of the pred. Always nice to intercept missiles and scourge.

 

we need more info about the predator! are you sure they can intercept scourge? i mean zerg might not even have scourge anymore
