Hi all, before any of you tries to troll me, I am just here to hear your thought. So a normal Terran 4 open(2 tech, 2 reactor) usually overpowers Protoss' 4 gates. Now I have recently lost about 5~6 in a row: I go 4 rax with a good amount of marines and mar. I go hit @ around 65. At this point, protoss just turtles and force fields. Then goes colossus and takes me out. The game of course lasts for a while. Both of us have expansions. But the problem is that my bio ball dies regardless of what I do. One possible solution is to use vikings but then that requires time to build (factory and starport). If you go vikings you also dont have enough bio ball to kill the zealots. I am a diamond number 3. Please advice.
You could always try 3rax 1 with tech 2 with reactor finish your research while your getting your other 2 rax and factory up. Then factory with reactor tech swap once your port is finished and pump medivacs. Then just do a drop. Medivacs and stim will pretty much rape zealots. and if your marauders have slow zealots shouldnt even catch you anyway.
You could delay the bio ball a bit, do some various harass with something like banshees, make him respond to air, then hit him with the bio build. If you do banshees, then you have a starport (or two) for some medivacs to do annoying drop harass and healing.
My advice is to just do what you're doing but throw in a factory when you can and attach a tech for tanks or thors. I tend to switch too rines and thors after the first 1 or 2 bioballs fail.
It's called MMM for a reason, and you're missing the 3rd M. If they are turtling you can freely expand and wreak havoc with medivac drops in their base. MMM will usually wipe out Protoss long before they can get enough colosi AND thermal lance.
