I did a search for it but couldn't find anything so I made a new thread. I'm trying to unlock the Rory Swann portrait and I need all armory upgrades. But for some bizarre reason, it's not registering. I bought all possible infantry upgrades (saved game, bought upgrade, loaded previous game, repeat for other upgrades) yet it's stuck at 5/10. I bought all of them! It's a similar issue with Tech Base and Tech Vehicle: they're stuck. I've been replaying the campaign on Hard now and I bought a vehicle upgrade that I'm sure I didn't buy on my previous playthrough of the campaign and it's still stuck at 6/8 now. Is this a bug? Or am I missing something?
Yeah. You have to save up a ton of money, save the game, then buy EVERY infantry upgrade for that achievement, reload, buy EVERY vehicle upgrade for that achievement, reload, etc. Pretty sure you need almost 100,000 credits to get the starship upgrade achievement.
That worked. I bought all the infantry upgrades at once and I unlocked Infantry Tech Master. I just need to do it with the other categories too once I unlocked every unit in the game. I'll just save up enough money and do the "buy everything, reload" thing. Thanks for the advice, kind sirs.
