I'm pretty surprised that no one has posted about this really great game yet




okay you gyz who have also played this awesome game say what you think about it and we Will discuss it


anyway personally i just love the game, its humorous look, the class system and the fact that its so damn well balanced out and just simply overwhelmingly fun, i always play as engineer

 

It looks fun, one of those games you can mess around with other players.

I still remember my quake team fortress days, haha.

 

it's easy to get tf2, you buy it and you get it on your steam account, then you download it and play (me for example live in Sweden so i play on European servers)

so yes youl be able to play in Australia

the only bad thing is that it takes a loooong time to download, if you download about 255 KB/s it will take about 8 hours


and btw about the game its very beginner friendly, for like example in counter strike you had about no chance as a beginner against a pro, in tf2 its pretty easy to take em down if you know what to do, for example a pro sniper is head shooting everyone, go spy and one shot him from behind, the game is so great because its all about teamwork and all classes have distinct strengths and weaknesses, so you have to work together to overcome them

as a engineer i support my friends if offensives and defenses greatly by building turrets , teleporters or dispensers

When I get this after a minor computer upgrade (RAM and Video Card) I'm going to play as an Engineer.
Machine Gun Turrets and Shotguns? I dig it.

 

I don't frikkin care what they're called....They turn heavies from unstoppable to "OH DEAR GOD WHAT IS THAT DEMON!!!"

 

It is sad how few people understand you have to kill the healer's FIRST.

I'm surprised a thread hasn't been started before on the orange box games (Portal, Half life ep2 and TF2) all of them are brilliant!

 

HL EP2 is wonderful, as all HL.

 

Can the engineer still do the dispenser bomb in TF 2?

I used to plant dispensers in the enemy base, then detonate them, =P

 

Sadly that is no longer possibly Hodl pu =(

 

Team Fortress 2 looks awesome! it looks less cheaper than TFC (Team Fotress Classic)

Ok guys I brought this back up because I have it now (even if for a limited time) and was wondering if anyone would like to play... like right now because I will probably have it for Christmas but I don't know so if anyone whos on has it tell me I'd love to play you... right now.

 

I played it couple times at my friend's and it was great. I probably will get it since it comes with HL:Episode 2 and Portal and it's the best deal ever in videogame history. I absolutely owned everyone with the heavy weapons guy. Just walk around everywhere with the minigun spooled up shooting on sight. That's a classic FPS moment right there.

 

well wlck when you get it tell me I'd love to play you. Also a heavy may totally wipe out any other unit but you should beware a sniper. If they are any good one shot kill and a heavy isn't fast enough to dodge >.>

 

Actually if I remember correctly a fully charged snipe to the head of a Heavy brings him down to 50 from 300.
Since the Heavy's such a fatty.

I primarily play Demoman, Engineer, and Pyro. Sometimes I fit some practice in as Spy and Sniper. I think they're the harder classes to play.

 

Emmm if the shot is fully uped and its to the head the heavy does actually die which surprises me >.> I wasnt sure until I did it today.

And I think I've seen your face Omelette name while playing before...

Any way I'm mostly a scout and sniper I don't really play anything else. 10 headshots in one life ftw
