T v T early Thor. What to do?

My opponent built 2 early Thors, as mentioned.So he wiped me out quite early. I had aprox 20 marines who died alomst instantly lol. He came into my base and cleaned it out pretty quick. What should I've done to counter it?

 

Marauders instead of marines... TvT is about mmm, tanks and vikings.

 

everything terrran has owns marines, ironicly (siege tanks, thors, ground vikings, etc.)
not to mention that thors do have splash damage and well placed 250mm bombardments could own grouped marines

 

Thor rush. LOL. yeah you needed some marauders. though if he got thors out so fast then he spent all his resources on them. you could of just as easily pushed 10 marines and best him before he got the thors

I've seen the Thor rush once, my partner did it. He got it out rediculously quick and supported it with workers which constantly repaired it. He ended up taking out 2 people with just 2 Thors but I saw the way to beat it. Take out the scvs as best you can and spread your units. If you're going against Terran you should have had Mars or tanks though, you would have been fine. If they can get a Thor, you should be able to get a tank+siege up.
