    Hey guys. I just got a quick question here for people with the beta since I'm not very good with computers and whatnot. I'm just wondering if my system specs can run starcraft 2. If so, on what quality level, and if not, what graphics/video cards or processors I should get at a fairly low price.

    My System Specifications:

    * Operating system:Windows 2.5.1.2600 (SP 3)
    * CPU type:AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500
    * CPU Speed (GHz):2.224
    * System memory (GB):0.936
    * Graphics card model:NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE
    * Graphics card driver:nv4_disp.dll
    * Desktop resolution:1024x768
    * Hard disk size (GB):144.329
    * Hard disk free space (GB):62.345
    I have a pretty crappy 2007 dell.

    You'll have a very hard time running SC2 with that.
    Maybe on the low resolution it will work.. but barely..

    You need at the very least a dual core processor ( 2x 2.5Ghz aprox, double as fast as yours)
    And for the graphics card... well, there's a lot of options. But basically any Nvidia card that starts with 8.000 or more, or any ATI card that starts with 4.000 or more. And they should have at the very least 512MB of memory.. ideally 1GB.

    That's what I thought. My computer is pretty terrible. Problem is that I'm on a tight budget, and I only have my job in the summer. Looks like i've got a long wait!

    First of all i want to say sorry to @Pwn for spamming his topic, but i dont want to flood the forum with similar questions.
    I am going to buy a new laptop(Qosmio X505-Q880) for job uses (Solidworks 10, AutoCAD 09&10 & Rhino). Here are the spef.:
    # Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Processor
    # Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium
    # 6GB DDR3 memory 1066MHz
    # 500GB hard drive (7200rpm)
    # 64GB solid state drive
    # 1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® 360M, 2298MB total: 1GB GDDR5 discrete memory + up to 1274MB shared memory w/NVIDIA® TurboCache™ technology

    As a child i was a big fan of SC. One day i was surfing through the net and saw that there is a beta of SC2 and was like... like i discovered the Earth is round. Technically the game should run perfect, but my question is will this laptop practially run SC2 on ultra? Cause i was wondering to give a little bit more $ for a better machine. Tnks in advance!
