I think SSBB is going to be a bit limited, meaning it will be sold out extremely quick. So try getting it first, or reserving it would be a good idea too. GOod Luck with getting it.

I don't intend to get a copy myself. Sodium has a copy reserved, and is likely to fight for it tooth-and-nail... so I'll just let him do the work. It's releasing over our spring break so I won't get to play it until we get back or until I go to his house... and get owned.

I never liked playing with items in the previous games, so I will probably do the same for this game. I hate the introduction of randomness in a match, because it can give a sudden advantage to one player that has nothing to do with skill.
Not that I am really that good anymore.

 

I can't wait either. I'm dying to see how Zero Suit Samus plays. ;D

though that skin-tight jumpsuit does bring up a few less-than-appropriate ideas...

 

The game is out in the United States, but no one has commented yet! I guess those who have it are too busy playing it, or something.

The following may contain some secret characters. Read at your own risk!

I prefer Ike at the moment, but Samus, Wolf, Marth, Luigi, and Solid Snake are also fun to play as. I like Ike because he uses a sword, he is not ridiculously slow, and he has very strong, wide ranged attacks.

Anyone else have favorite characters after actually playing?

 

Dam I wish I had a wii or knew someone who does lol, I really want to play it.

Still remember the good times I had with the original and beating all my m8s in a game, ah good times 8)

it's just a good fighter game. Lots of items different moves and just overall fun game.

My favorite character when I first started was meta knight and I'm pretty good with him then I went back to playing fox like I did in melee. Although now I'm shifting from them and starting to use lucario just cause he's a cool character. BTW if anyone wants to play online just tell me and I'd be happy to.

 

I still like to play as fox, since he has quick but strong smashes. I like Captain Falcon alot as well.

I'm a bit disappointed in the Smash Balls. I thought it would be a one per match kind of deal. Instead, it appears almost as soon as it is used. Talk about nuts! Now I just don't use it at all.

 

I agree, the only character from (what little I've seen) that I'd like to play is Samus

Lucario is actually pretty well liked by most of the people I talked to. He is, at the very least, an intresting addition.

honestly, some characters CANT be played in brawl because they're so TERRIBLE compared to the others
plus it's a LOT slower!!!

I'm kinda a professional link player in melee
and i constantly criticize brawl for its lack of skill requirements.
my 6 yr old cousin won a recent brawl tournament because he used R.O.B.
