So I was sifting through some old cds and found my old emulator cd with a ton of stored games from Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. So my question whats your favorite system and also what are your favorite top 5 games from either one? (you can"t put a series as a choice for example you must put sonic and knuckles not sonic, ect ) 1. Alien Soldier 2. Shining Force (hated the second one) 3. Tales of Phantasia 4. legend of Zelda link to the past 5. Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3 in Japan)
Super Nintendo, they far too many great games to pass up on and is still considered the best console in terms of game library etc in the game industry history. My favorites were Super Metroid Super Mario World Zelda a link to the past chrono trigger secret of mana super mario rpg
I don't recall playing anything on genesis, so SNES. As for games, among others: Chrono Trigger The Lost Vikings 1,2 Final Fantasy 4-6 Der Langrisser
Well, the SNES is a very good console, but my vote goes to the genesis cause that's the one I had when I was a kid Top 5 genesis games: 1- Earthworm Jim 1 and 2 2- Mortal Kombat 3 3- Comix Zone 4- The Alladin Game (It rocked xD) 5- Generation Lost (kickass scifi game)
I owned a genisis and only had 3 games to play when i was a kid that being sonic 2 x-men and chuck rock, but the Super nintendo games seemed to have alot more depth then the genisis and also way more awsome games but I do have alot of favorites from the genisis.
Once upon a time I was a proud owner of SNES US version. I switched from SEGA Genesis for the following reasons: - Improved graphics (although 16 bit) - Improved sounds - RPG titles - Game play - Joypads Although a little expensive than Genesis, SNES gave its rival 32 bit systems a tough time as well. The Donkey Kong Country was an excellent title by RAVE.
