I dont play WoW, mainly bcuz Im a cheap bastard but also, I see it only as a competition for having the least life irl... Anyways, heres the plan that would make it moar funny (imo): 1: Every wekk or so, Blizzard would set up battles (no, not arena) between like, every1 at the server... The map is always splitted into territories(not only when theres gonna be a battle) , some 4 the horde and some 4 the alliance and a few neutral that neighter team owns (they are still conquerable)... So every week all the players get to vote wich territory that they want their team to conquer... The winning territory is, at the time of the fight, the only place you can be in. The fight should be like, "Battlefield" style, whit flag capturing and stuff... OR, 2: The whole map would be a gigant CTF and when U take the enemy flag and take it to your own base, a army of NPC´s will storm the place wich U stole the flag from... ofc players could be helping too. This would make the game more pvp and not like "Im lvl 80 orc, have 200 days of playtime, I have seen 30 alliance players." Just my opinion.
The server gives back the alliance territories to the alliance. No, since this would only be on the PVP servers "Isn't this the same thing as warson gulch????" Dunno what game that is, sry.
Warsong Gulch is a 10 VS 10 battleground in Warcraft that's capture the flag. ...Wait why are you making suggestions if you don't know apparently much about it?
Suggestions for WoW: Go back before the cross-battleground patch. All that needs to be done; no honor farming, no welfare epics, people raided cities all the time. World PvP, best class balance the game has ever had (Wasn't perfect, but it was a lot better than it is now.), only the best players had the best gear; there's no room for that "blah blah all you have to do is have countless hours to play" because I would put money on any old-school Grand Marshal or High Warlord being able to smoke any everyday scrub, naked. Raiding as well; raiders worked hours just to prepare for raids, consumables and whatnot, before everyone had access to Paladins and Shaman, entry level gear for raids, etc. None of these bull**** threat meters or 3rd party programs either.
So... appeal to the hardcore players? They want more casual people joining in because WoW is meant for wallets, not getting known on your server.
i say they need to reduce the amount of grinding needed for reputation, and instead add more dailies and normal quests, those are far more enjoyable to do
1 - 60 needs to be nerfed. Hard. They're releasing all this new content and then expect to pull in more players, while I find the first damn 60 levels to be mind numbing.
totally agreed, 1-60 is boring, this way, they'll never get new players. also, WoW now has in-game cinematics, they are not as good as the openings but still véry good to watch. I watched my first one today: betrayal at the wrath gate. Varimathras and Putress betrayed the horde and slaugthered scourge, horde and alliance alike at the battle of the wrathgate, until the greatest of the red dragons came and killed putress. Now Varimathras has captured the Undercity If all of WoW had this kind of quests and some more cinematics, then there would be far less lore-bashing, and far more praising
yes, because the way they did this, didnt rape lore at all, i think it counts as one of the coolest moments in WoW history; the battle at the wrathgate, followed by the battle for undercity, then followed by war between the alliance and the horde
You said that if there were more cinematics people would bash lore less, therefore: moar CG = better lore The betrayal might be cool and all but it can't redeem the previous failures, the damage is done
no, what i meant was, that if the Lore would actually be played out, instead of just mentioned in quests, it would be a lot more acceptible, and would force blizzard to think about it more and another suggestion that was in this quest line: get the important NPC's involved, fighting alongside Thrall and Sylvanas is great
wow, blizzard wasnt kidding when they said you would meet Arthas more then only as a raid boss. i did not only meet him 6 times now, all on diffferent battlefields, i even played as arthas for a quest. EDIT: make that 2 quests, i just fought as arthas against Illidan to uncover his weakness, his emotions he threw down a deep pit literally edit: turn the 6 into a seven, just fought against him alongside mograine and fordring inside the cathedral of darkness
