Though our admin is on vacation and so the closest date this could be implemented would be in at least 3 weeks, I'd like to see other people's opinions on my idea. I'm sure most of you had times when you needed minerals badly but no one bought your stuff from the trade centre (mostly because they didn't look there) and you didn't want to loan from someone to pay back more. These situations could be solved if the shop would buy our stuff from us at the click of a button. Here's how I imagined it: If the item can be found in the shop, it will buy the item from you for 1/5 the original shop price (rounded down, no tenths). The item would be added to the available stock. If the item is sold out, it will buy it from you for 1/2 the original shop price (rounded up, no tenths) and the item will be made available in the shop. This way owners could get a small amount of minerals immediately without making the trade centre redundant - bargains could still be made there. It would also create the possibility of sold out items to be bought later on by other (new) members. I would also hazard the guess that it could help control inflation. :gossip: (I've always wanted to use this ;D)
I like this idea, and yes, no one looks in the trade center, I'm trying to get rid on my old frames and my Protoss frame 1 selling for 98 min hasen't been bought and its been there for over a week. People just don't seem to care for bargains.
