Because the marines would be shooting dirt and we already have depots for walls

Making bunkers submergible, taking the place of the supply depot as a wall.

this isn't really necessary or useful for that matter. if u make a bunker wall they'll be suseptable to mellee damage, so it's better to make a supply depo wall and some units in the back.

I agree with DontHate. We don't need submergible bunkers.
The supply depots are better for a wall.

Bunkers dont get in the way of things, unlike supply depots. You want to be able to have some use for supply depots other than taking up space.

Bunkers are a building for defense, i dont see why both shouldnt be submergible

"How are bunkers suceptable to melee and supply depots not?'

Because supply depots will be taking the hits/keeping melee units back which will increase the bunkers life span then if there was nothing between the bunkers and the enemy.

"Bunkers are a building for defense, i dont see why both shouldnt be submergible"

Because there is no need. We already have depots acting as walls so bunkers won't be in the way. And while submerged the marines won't be able to fire and be totally vulnerable. Depots on the other hand are always providing supplies.

the only use i can think of for a submergible bunker is if it acts like real world under ground nuclear bunkers which shields the units inside from being damaged by nukes, apart from that it's useless

buildings 2 rows of bunkers is simply a waste of minerals, unlike supply depots they don't provide any supplies and without units they don't attack by themselves, also all the time your base is not under attack the bunkers are simply sitting there doing nothing. you would be better off replacing the first row by supply depots

sumergible bunker? humm, how can fire de marines?
Is a good idea, but isn't logical be underground and fire. The idea of supply depot it's cool, i like that
