When I make a post on the forum and go back to the same thread the entire thread is backwards... meaning that my most recent post is first and so on, is this normal and how can i fix it?
Go into your control panel (User CP), click on Edit Options on the left, scroll down till you see "Thread Display Options." It's the option that says "Thread Display Mode." Change that so ti says "Linear - Oldest first" Hope that fixes it
That's normal, but you can reverse it. Go: control panel - edit options - thread display options - linear newest first
Yeah, I was wondering about that too, I kind of like it though since it just shows the most recent posts which are really the ones you're looking for usually.
Same here... The forum default should show the first posts last. It was really annoying having to look through the forum to figure out how to change it.
hahaha, well it's funny how all of you were wondering the same thing =p, i agree yamato it is usual to have the default as you described it but its not that much work to change they were quick to reply to my issue so i have no complaints
I do. That makes more sense than the oldest last because you can follow how the topic progresses without having to read backwards.
