Hi all, I got this game like 2 weeks ago and it's my first RTS since Age of Empires 2 (which I sucked at btw). So when I started I was obviously quite bad and in Bronze I started pretty bad as well. But now, I read a few guides and saw some videos and now I won like 15 games in a row. However, I am always slightly favorited or even, even though my record is just barely positive. I never play against players that are favorited against me, so now it's just kinda like shooting fish in a barrell. What are the criteria for playing some better opponents or is it just completely random and ignores things such as winstreaks?
I know this isnt a great amount of help to you but im having exactly the same problem. I started my 1v1's off with a grand 1-28 but have now pulled it back to 46-45. I have played people in silver leagues who are obviously better and had no sort of favouring at ALL. I think i was favoured in that one, not even slightly favoured
Hi, 1stly, this rank that u r in league...kinda fake. Blizzard has sth like hidden rankings system, where you and gold or platinum player can have same points (In my opinion, - strange system...my teammate had about 25 wins in a row, but blizzard didn't let him go to platinum league ><) And u'll go to the next league, when your points in this hidden rate will be at least average of the next league points... something like that. So your opponent is player, near to u in this system, also, if u have few wins in a row, ur opponents are being more & more stronger, but there's can be written that teams are equal or u r slightly favourite
Well its getting a bit dull due to people in bronze highly neglecting macro when engaging ( i was very guilty not long ago) or trying ridiculous cheese which i have face so many times that can now realise how to deal / spot it. I mean im not gonna be big headed and say oooh i think im diamond grade now because im not but i think i deserve at least a go in silver as im beating them when i play them as it is.
Blizzard is a pile of every retarded phenomenon that has, does, and will exist whose "members" not only eat the feces of the universe but also like it so much that they wrap it in aluminum foil and sell it as a pile of silver.
