I mean, who's gonna want to go in chat if it always says [1 User]? If it doesn't get used more, it'll just be dead weight on the server.
Don't worry, once there's more material released on SC2 and the weather gets worse this site will be packed with people, including the chat.
still dismayed that theres only little chance that people will gather in the chatroom you can only see a group of member in the chatroom once or twice per day
but the chat room is either for news info and discussions or meaningless blah-blahs it would be awesome to have 60+ members in the room and chaos builds up i think theres a point in not telling how many people are there in the chatroom, so that people would enter the room out of curiosity of who is in there, thus increases the chance of the gathering of people
but there's no possibility for buildup without a counter ie: 1 person enters because curious, in this scenario, they see there is nobody there - nobody else will know that one person entered, and if they just checked 10 minutes ago or something, they won't check again... so you might have 10 ppl check in a 30 minute timespan, all miss each other, and never know that anybody else is interested in chat.... the current way, as soon as 1 person logs in and leaves the window sitting, then ppl know to go check it out again, and pretty soon it snowballs
that's BS and you know it, nate. can you honestly say that you don't avoid entering chat because it always says [1 user] or [2 users]?
I go in chat when it says 3+ are in, tried when 1 person is there, but they always are doing something and aren't even responsive.
I'd enter even if it said 1 user but since eatme has the new habit of always being there and doing absolutely nothing but hogging the bandwidth P) I only enter for 2-3 users.
rofl, my bad, i just dont close my internet explorer... from now on it will usually say 1 member, because i will usually be in it. even if it does say 1 member, check in every now and then, i get lonely when im forum trolling... although im actually playing games 50% of the time, and i only notice the chime 50% of the time when im not... and im not at my computer 50% of the time i leave it on... so 12.5% of the time i will respond. (1/8) the only problem is, when i do respond, they stop talking, or go afk, or something... although i did have a great conversation about quantum physics with 2 people, i forget who they were.
ya i have noticed that there is always one person in the chat, and when i get in the chat. Well u know the rest of the story... i just end up leaving.
