I need help getting songs to install on stapmania. I have the songs downloaded, but I can't get them to load into stepmania to actually play them! If anyone knows how I get them to work, plz post or send me a PM. As an incentive, I'll even throw in a owerup: for those who help me out. This thread is now going to be about DDR and StepMania. If you have any song files that you like or want to talk about them in general, this is the place.
Re: I need stepmania song installation help! It's a computer version of DDR( dance dance revolution). I've tinkered with it, and the only way I can find to install songs is the old fasioned drag-and-drop.

"Open the programs folder (its a computer icon) in the stepmania folder click on songs make a folder for example:My favorite songs and put your song folders in there then start the game and you should see my favorite song pick it and when it opens there are your songs." Re: I need stepmania song installation help! thx, I was doing something similar (opening 2 windows to move data). But I just moved the information piece by piece by dragging the information from one window to another.
Re: I need stepmania song installation help! One more question: If I want to change a file type, how do I do that? example: the song is in a .mid file, but stepmania only uses .ogg and .mp3 files. How can I change the .mid file to a .ogg or .mp3 file?

Re: I need stepmania song installation help! now that your problems are solved lets make this thread about DDR or anything related to it =D ive been playing DDR for 4 yrs...i can beat every single song on maniac =D i remember in 2005 i got AA for MaX300 on maniac ..back then i was so fit...now im abit lazier..lol =] i still cant beat Paranoia Max on Omni...tahts fricken nuts...i nearly beat it..i came to the end and just failed... =[ for people who dont know what i talking about....umm...wikipedia it up... =D lol
Re: I need stepmania song installation help! ok, but first, I finally finished my first song with dance steps and picture. The song is the Team Rocket Encounter theme song from the silver/gold versions. If you have Stepmania, you can download it and see if you like it. However, there is only one difficulty setting atm, and I'd rate it a 5-7.
